Our
mission is to improve the health and well-being of pets of the homeless who
cannot otherwise afford medical care for their pets; stop the spread of
infectious diseases and parasites in the community; prevent unwanted litters by
educating owners and offering either financial assistance or services for
spay/neuter. We provide free basic
veterinary care during two clinics each month, currently the 2nd
and 4th Sunday of each month from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
They are held at the St. Vincent de Paul’s Service Station on

The LifeLine program provides grants for companion animals during life-threatening emergencies when rescuers or caregivers cannot afford the entire cost of treatment. Thanks to generous donations from UAN members and other caring individuals, LifeLine has aided more than 1,500 animals with a no-strings attached grants for emergency veterinary care. The mission of LifeLine is to help homeless or recently rescued animals suffering from life-threatening conditions that require specific and immediate emergency veterinary care. We strive to serve Good Samaritans and rescue groups who take in sick or injured animals.
